  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 12 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Ingredients: Place the chilled watermelon cubes, fresh lime juice, honey or agave syrup, and water into a blender.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy.
  3. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals and achieve a granular, icy texture.
  4. Serve: Once frozen and icy, scoop into serving glasses or bowls. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an adult version, add a splash of rum or vodka before freezing.
  • Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey.
