- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
- 1/4 cup water
- fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Blend the Ingredients: Place the chilled watermelon cubes, fresh lime juice, honey or agave syrup, and water into a blender.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy.
- Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals and achieve a granular, icy texture.
- Serve: Once frozen and icy, scoop into serving glasses or bowls. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For an adult version, add a splash of rum or vodka before freezing.
- Adjust the sweetness to taste by adding more or less honey.
- You can also freeze the blended mixture in popsicle molds for watermelon ice pops.
