Description

A comforting and aromatic Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea blending robust black tea, warm cinnamon spice, and smooth vanilla with creamy milk for a cozy, flavorful beverage perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose black tea)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • pinch of salt (optional)

Flavoring & Sweetener

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)

Milk

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. Boil water and steep tea: In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 black tea bags, 1 cinnamon stick, and a pinch of salt if using. Reduce the heat and let it simmer gently for 3 to 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  2. Add vanilla and sweetener: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract along with 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey or sugar, adjusting sweetness to your preference.
  3. Heat the milk: In a separate pot or microwave-safe container, heat 1 cup of milk until it’s hot but not boiling to prevent curdling and to maintain creaminess.
  4. Strain tea and combine: Remove the tea bags and cinnamon stick from the tea mixture. Pour the hot milk into the tea and stir thoroughly to blend all flavors harmoniously.
  5. Optional frothy finish: For a frothy texture, whisk vigorously or briefly blend the combined tea and milk before serving warm. Alternatively, cool and serve over ice for an iced version.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness and cinnamon intensity to your taste preferences.
  • This tea can be served hot or iced; just let it cool and pour over ice for a refreshing cold drink.
  • Use oat, almond, or any plant-based milk to make this recipe vegan.
