- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 pre-made graham cracker crust or 8 crushed graham crackers with 3 tablespoons melted butter (pressed into an 8×8-inch dish)
- Optional: extra sliced fruit and whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Make the cream: In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the prepared pudding until smooth and fluffy.
- Layer the dessert: If using a homemade crust, press the graham cracker and butter mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch dish. Layer half of the pudding mixture over the crust. Add a layer of banana slices, followed by a layer of strawberry slices. Repeat the layers with the remaining pudding, bananas, and strawberries.
- Chill and serve: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Top with extra whipped cream and fruit if desired.
