Ingredients
Puff Pastry:
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
Spinach Mixture:
1 cup frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed dry), 1/2 cup ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 clove garlic (minced), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional), 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Assemble the twists: Roll out puff pastry, spread filling over half, fold over, press to seal. Cut into strips, twist gently, place on baking sheet.
- Bake: Brush twists with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
