For the Deviled Eggs:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup small cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

For Garnish:

  • Extra small shrimp or paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain, cool in an ice bath, peel, and slice in half.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, horseradish, ketchup, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Fold in shrimp, celery, and parsley.
  3. Fill the Eggs: Spoon or pipe filling into egg whites. Garnish with shrimp or paprika. Chill before serving.
