For the Deviled Eggs:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup small cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
For Garnish:
- Extra small shrimp or paprika
Instructions
- Cook the Eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain, cool in an ice bath, peel, and slice in half.
- Prepare the Filling: Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, horseradish, ketchup, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Fold in shrimp, celery, and parsley.
- Fill the Eggs: Spoon or pipe filling into egg whites. Garnish with shrimp or paprika. Chill before serving.
