For the White Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1/2 pound scallops, chopped
- 1/2 pound lump crab meat
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of half a lemon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and cook the noodles: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté the seafood: In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic. Add shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. Season and cook until just opaque. Set aside.
- Make the white sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk and cream, and cook until thickened. Stir in Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the lasagna: Layer noodles, seafood mixture, ricotta, mozzarella, and white sauce in a baking dish. Repeat layers and top with remaining noodles, white sauce, and mozzarella.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden. Rest before serving.
