Cake:
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Glaze:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice (for glaze)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a Bundt pan thoroughly.
- Mix batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, 1 cup pineapple juice, and oil. Mix until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Prepare glaze: While the cake bakes, prepare the glaze by combining granulated sugar, butter, and 1/2 cup pineapple juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until sugar is dissolved.
- Glaze cake: Once the cake is done, let it cool for 10 minutes, poke holes in the top, and pour warm glaze over the cake. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
Notes
- For extra pineapple flavor, add crushed pineapple (drained) into the batter.
- Serve with whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
