Sausages:
- 8 pork sausages
Vegetables:
- 4 medium potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
- 3 carrots (peeled and sliced)
- 1 red onion (cut into wedges)
- 1 cup green beans or peas
Seasoning:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Gravy:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare vegetables: Place potatoes, carrots, and red onion in a roasting pan. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Add sausages: Nestle sausages on top of the vegetables. Roast for 25 minutes, then turn sausages and stir vegetables. Add green beans or peas and roast for another 15–20 minutes.
- Make gravy: Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve: Drizzle gravy over baked sausages and vegetables.
