Scale
Main Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
Optional Topping
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew Coffee or Espresso: Pull a shot of espresso or brew strong coffee, then set it aside to cool slightly before using in the frappe mixture.
- Warm the Nutella: Place Nutella in a small bowl and microwave it for 10 to 20 seconds or gently heat it on the stovetop to soften, making it easier to blend smoothly.
- Blend Main Ingredients: In a blender, combine the whole milk, sugar, softened Nutella, brewed coffee or espresso, and vanilla extract. Pulse and blend until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
- Add Ice and Blend: Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend on high speed for about one minute until the texture is creamy and smooth, creating the perfect frappe consistency.
- Serve: Pour the blended Nutella frappe into a tall glass. Optionally, top with whipped cream for an extra indulgent finish, and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- To get the best flavor, ensure your coffee or espresso is strong and slightly cooled before blending.
- Warming Nutella helps it blend smoothly without clumping.
- You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar or using alternatives like honey or stevia.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute whole milk with almond, soy, or oat milk.
- Serve immediately after blending to maintain the frappe’s creamy texture.
