Ingredients
Scale
Salmon Bites:
- 1 lb skinless salmon fillet (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the Salmon: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the salmon cubes and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.
- Cook the Salmon: Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove salmon from the marinade and cook in batches if necessary. Sear the salmon bites for 2–3 minutes on each side until caramelized and cooked through. Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet during the last minute of cooking to create a glaze, stirring gently to coat the salmon.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot as an appetizer or over rice or salad for a full meal.
Notes
- These salmon bites are also excellent in tacos or lettuce wraps.
- For extra crispiness, lightly dredge the salmon in cornstarch before searing.
