These Kentucky Hot Brown Sliders are a delicious twist on the classic open-faced sandwich. Perfect for game day or any gathering, these sliders are loaded with roasted turkey, crispy bacon, and a creamy cheese sauce, all baked to perfection on slider buns.

Slider Assembly:
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1 lb sliced roasted turkey breast
- 6 slices cooked bacon (cut in half)
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
Cheese Sauce:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Additional:
- 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make Cheese Sauce: Melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk gradually, then add mustard, nutmeg, salt, pepper, cheddar, and Parmesan. Stir until smooth.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice buns, layer with turkey, cheese sauce, and bacon. Top with bun halves. Brush with melted butter and garlic powder.
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, bake for 5–7 minutes until golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, use smoked turkey or add tomato slices under the bacon.
- Cheese sauce can be prepared ahead and refrigerated until ready to use.
