- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth

- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Sear chicken: In a skillet, sear chicken thighs until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté aromatics: In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic. Add rice and cook briefly.
- Add liquids: Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest. Bring to a simmer.
- Bake: Nestle chicken thighs on top of rice, cover, and bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Rest and garnish: Let the dish rest, then garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
