Ingredients
Scale
Pizza Dough
- 1 batch 2-ingredient pizza dough
Fillings
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup pizza toppings (such as mushrooms, olives, and peppers)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Milk for brushing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Prepare and Roll the Dough: Prepare your 2-ingredient pizza dough according to the recipe instructions. Once ready, roll it out into a rectangular shape approximately 12 inches by 6 inches (30 cm by 15 cm), creating an even surface for toppings.
- Add the Sauce and Toppings: Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about half an inch of space around the edges. Next, layer your choice of pizza toppings, followed by shredded cheese. Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over the top for extra flavor.
- Roll and Slice: Carefully roll the dough starting from the longest side, rolling tightly until fully rolled into a log. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into 12 to 16 even pieces to create bite-sized pizza rolls.
- Arrange on a Baking Tray: Place the sliced pizza rolls cut side up on the prepared baking tray. Optionally, brush the tops and sides with a little milk to help them brown beautifully while baking.
- Bake: Bake the pizza rolls in the preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle additional Italian herbs on top for extra aroma and flavor.
- Serve: Allow the pizza rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature as a tasty snack or appetizer.
