- 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on or off)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions
- Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer and Grill: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and slightly charred.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- These skewers are also great for indoor grill pans or broiling in the oven.
- Serve over rice, salad, or pasta for a full meal.
