Description

Delight in these refreshing Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops, a perfect blend of ripe mangoes, creamy Greek yogurt, and a touch of natural sweetness. Easy to make and healthy, these popsicles are an ideal cool treat for warm days or a nutritious snack any time.

Ingredients

Scale

Frozen Mango Yogurt Pops Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Puree the Mangoes: Blend the chopped mangoes in a blender or food processor until completely smooth, ensuring a creamy base for the popsicles.
  2. Add the Remaining Ingredients: Add Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the blended mango; blend again until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  3. Fill the Popsicle Molds: Pour the mango yogurt mixture evenly into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  4. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until fully solidified.
  5. Unmold and Serve: To remove the pops, briefly run warm water over the outside of the molds and gently pull out the frozen mango yogurt pops.

Notes

  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan alternative.
  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a creamier texture, but low-fat yogurt can be used for a lighter version.
  • Ensure mangoes are fully ripe for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups and wooden sticks can be used as a substitute.
  • Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer to prevent freezer burn.
