Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 200g digestive biscuits or graham crackers (crushed)
- 100g unsalted butter
- 200g dark or milk chocolate (chopped)
- 150g Nutella
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup (or honey)
- 8 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (chopped)
- 50g chopped toasted hazelnuts
Topping
- 100g chocolate (melted, for topping)
- 4–5 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (halved, for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the baking tin: Line an 8×8-inch square baking tin with parchment paper, ensuring the paper covers the sides for easy removal later.
- Melt the wet ingredients: In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, 200g of chocolate, Nutella, and golden syrup together, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately stir in the crushed biscuits, chopped toasted hazelnuts, and chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Mix thoroughly until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Press mixture into tin: Firmly press the chocolate mixture into the prepared tin, making sure to spread it evenly into a compact layer for a solid base.
- Add topping: Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture, spreading it smoothly to cover the surface completely.
- Decorate: While the topping is still soft, place the halved Ferrero Rocher chocolates on top in your desired pattern for decoration and extra indulgence.
- Chill and set: Refrigerate the tiffin for at least 2–3 hours, or until the chocolate has fully set and the dessert is firm to the touch.
- Serve: Once set, remove the tiffin from the tin using the parchment paper, cut into 16 squares, and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can use milk or dark chocolate depending on your preferred sweetness level.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week to keep fresh.
- For extra texture, consider mixing in rice cereal or wafer pieces into the base mixture.
