Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Butter and Chocolate: In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Add Sugars and Eggs: Whisk in granulated and brown sugars, then add eggs one at a time, stirring well. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt. Fold into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Bake: Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 28–32 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.
