Ingredients
Ground Breakfast Sausage:
1 pound
Cream Cheese (softened):
1 (8-ounce) package
Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (undrained):
1 (10-ounce) can
Garlic Powder:
1/2 teaspoon
Black Pepper:
1/4 teaspoon
Sliced Green Onions for Garnish (optional)
Tortilla Chips or Crackers for Serving
Instructions
- Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add Cream Cheese: Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese. Stir until fully melted and combined with the sausage.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl or keep warm in a slow cooker. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired and serve hot with tortilla chips or crackers.
