Scale
Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna Ingredients:
- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Meat: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Season the Meat: Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
- Layer in the Slow Cooker: In a greased 6-quart slow cooker, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Add a single layer of frozen ravioli, followed by a portion of the cooked meat, some marinara sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce and cheese on top.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2–2.5 hours, until bubbly and cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can use meat-filled ravioli for extra protein or add a layer of ricotta for extra creaminess.
- This recipe is freezer-friendly and great for meal prep.
