For the Pasta:
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Prepare the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken strips with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream, simmer, then stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Cook until thickened.
- Combine: Add chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
