- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- Cocoa powder or finely crushed Earl Grey tea leaves for dusting
Instructions
- Brew the Earl Grey Tea: Brew the Earl Grey tea and stir in the honey or sugar while still warm. Let cool completely.
- Prepare the Cream Mixture: Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Assemble the Tiramisu: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled tea, then layer them in a dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and cream. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Final Touch: Dust with cocoa powder or crushed Earl Grey tea leaves before serving.
