Ingredients
Puff Pastry:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed;
Cream Cheese Filling:
4 oz cream cheese, softened; 2 tablespoons powdered sugar; ½ teaspoon vanilla extract;
Raspberry Filling:
¼ cup raspberry jam or preserves; ¼ cup fresh raspberries;
Egg Wash:
1 egg (for egg wash);
Optional:
powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Prepare Pastry Squares: Roll out the puff pastry, cut into squares, and place on the baking sheet.
- Add Fillings: Spoon cream cheese mixture, raspberry jam, and a raspberry onto each pastry square.
- Seal and Bake: Fold the corners of the squares, brush with egg wash, then bake until golden brown.
