  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (use your favorite brand)
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker: Arrange the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, crushed pineapple with juice, chopped onion, garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken: Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
