  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the pasta: Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Cook the chicken: Sauté chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through; set aside.
  4. Make the sauce: Sauté garlic, add flour, then slowly whisk in milk and cream. Simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Combine and bake: Return chicken to the sauce, add cooked pasta, mix, pour into a baking dish, top with mozzarella, and bake until bubbly and golden.
