Ingredients
Scale
Banana Chips:
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or butter
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds, about 1/8-inch thick.
- Mix Cinnamon-Sugar: In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Coat Banana Slices: Lightly brush both sides of the banana slices with melted coconut oil or butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Air Fry: Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 300°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Cool and Serve: Let the chips cool for 5–10 minutes to crisp up further before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, slice bananas thinner or extend cooking time slightly.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Adjust sugar quantity for a less sweet option.
