Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet and salty with these Chocolate Caramel Peanut Butter Pretzel Bars. A crunchy pretzel crust topped with a luscious peanut butter caramel and rich chocolate ganache.

Ingredients

Scale

Pretzel Crust:

  • 3 cups mini pretzels, lightly crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Peanut Butter Caramel:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts (optional topping)
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pretzel Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and brown sugar. Press into pan.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Caramel: In a saucepan, combine peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Cook until smooth and bubbling. Pour over crust.
  3. Bake and Add Chocolate: Bake for 15–18 minutes. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache. Spread over bars. Top with peanuts and sea salt.
  4. Chill and Serve: Chill bars in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing.
