For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, mix in extracts.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour and salt, then add to wet mixture.
- Assemble: Spread most of batter in pan, top with cherry filling, drop remaining batter on top.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
