- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
Filling
- 32 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Topping and Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Serving
- Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
- Prepare Dough: Flatten each biscuit dough round slightly to prepare for filling.
- Add Filling: Place 4 slices of pepperoni and approximately 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened dough round.
- Seal Pizza Bombs: Fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching them tightly to seal each ball completely.
- Arrange on Sheet: Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Season and Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over each dough ball, then sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, until the pizza bombs are golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve: Remove from oven and serve warm with a side of marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute mozzarella cheese for cheddar or provolone for a different flavor profile.
- Adding chopped cooked sausage or sautéed mushrooms inside the bombs provides extra flavor and texture.
- These pizza bombs can also be cooked in an air fryer at 350°F for 8–10 minutes as an alternative method.
