Mozzarella Cubes:
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
Breading:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Other:
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Set up three bowls for flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat Mozzarella: Dredge mozzarella cubes in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Freeze: Freeze coated cubes for 20 minutes to set.
- Fry: Heat oil, fry cubes until golden brown, and drain.
- Serve: Serve hot with marinara sauce.
