Description

These Breakfast Sliders with Sausage, Egg, and Cheese are a delicious and convenient meal perfect for breakfast or brunch. These sliders feature fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage patties, and gooey cheese sandwiched between soft slider buns, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Slider Buns:

12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls

Scrambled Eggs:

8 large eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon butter

Sausage Patties:

12 cooked breakfast sausage patties (or 1 pound sausage shaped into patties)

Cheese Layer:

6 slices cheddar or American cheese (halved)

Butter Topping:

2 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  3. Make the Eggs: Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in butter until just set but still soft.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Layer sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and cheese on the buns. Top with the remaining halves.
  5. Add Topping: Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
  6. Bake: Cover and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5–7 minutes until golden.
  7. Serve: Let cool slightly, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • These sliders are great for meal prep—wrap and freeze individually, then reheat in the oven or microwave.
  • Swap sausage for bacon or plant-based patties if preferred.
