Buns and Filling
- 12 slider buns or small dinner rolls
- 12 cooked sausage patties (store-bought or homemade)
- 12 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
Egg Mixture
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Garnish
- Chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the assembled sliders.
- Prepare Buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves into a baking dish evenly.
- Whisk Eggs: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
- Cook Scrambled Eggs: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir as the eggs cook to create soft scrambled eggs. Remove from heat once fully cooked.
- Assemble Sliders: Place one cooked sausage patty on each bottom half bun, then evenly divide the scrambled eggs over the patties.
- Add Cheese and Top Buns: Top each slider with a slice of cheese and cover with the top halves of the slider buns.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warmed through.
- Optional Toasting: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes if you prefer the buns to be slightly toasted.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired, then serve the sliders warm for a delicious breakfast.
