Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a Bundt pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
- Mix Cake Batter: In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, vegetable oil, pineapple juice, and eggs. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Pour Batter into Pan: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared Bundt pan and level the top with a spatula.
- Bake the Cake: Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, indicating the cake is fully cooked.
- Prepare the Glaze: While the cake is baking, heat the powdered sugar, pineapple juice, and unsalted butter over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and melted into a glaze.
- Apply the Glaze: Once the cake is hot from the oven, poke holes all over the surface with a skewer or fork. Pour the warm glaze over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes for maximum flavor.
- Rest and Serve: Let the glazed cake rest for 15 minutes to absorb the glaze, then invert it onto a serving plate carefully.
- Optional Quick Pineapple Glaze: For an alternative or additional glaze, mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 2 to 3 tablespoons pineapple juice until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding more juice if needed, and drizzle over the slightly warm cake for an extra fruity finishing touch.
