Description

Indulge in these delightful Best Chocolate Covered Pretzels for Easter, a festive and easy treat perfect for spring celebrations. These sweet and salty snacks are sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike!

Ingredients

Scale

Pretzels:

  • 40 mini pretzel twists

White Chocolate Coating:

  • 8 ounces white chocolate or white candy melts

Decorations:

  • Pastel-colored sprinkles or sanding sugar
  • Optional: pink, yellow, and purple food coloring

Additional:

  • Parchment paper for lining

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. If desired, divide the melted chocolate into separate bowls and tint each with a few drops of pastel food coloring.
  3. Coat the Pretzels: Dip each pretzel halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Place the coated pretzels on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Immediately add pastel sprinkles or sanding sugar before the chocolate sets.
  4. Set and Serve: Repeat with remaining pretzels. Let the pretzels sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator until fully set, about 15–20 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • For a fun variation, drizzle a contrasting pastel-colored chocolate over the coated pretzels after they’ve set.
  • You can also use pretzel rods instead of twists for a different look.
  • These make great Easter gifts when packaged in clear bags with ribbon.
