Ingredients
Scale
Pretzels:
- 40 mini pretzel twists
White Chocolate Coating:
- 8 ounces white chocolate or white candy melts
Decorations:
- Pastel-colored sprinkles or sanding sugar
- Optional: pink, yellow, and purple food coloring
Additional:
- Parchment paper for lining
Instructions
- Prepare the Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. If desired, divide the melted chocolate into separate bowls and tint each with a few drops of pastel food coloring.
- Coat the Pretzels: Dip each pretzel halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Place the coated pretzels on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Immediately add pastel sprinkles or sanding sugar before the chocolate sets.
- Set and Serve: Repeat with remaining pretzels. Let the pretzels sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator until fully set, about 15–20 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Notes
- For a fun variation, drizzle a contrasting pastel-colored chocolate over the coated pretzels after they’ve set.
- You can also use pretzel rods instead of twists for a different look.
- These make great Easter gifts when packaged in clear bags with ribbon.
