Cinnamon Roll Bake:
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Apple Pecan Mixture:
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Egg Mixture:
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the baking dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the cinnamon roll pieces: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls, set the icing aside, and cut each roll into quarters.
- Cook the apple pecan mixture: In a skillet, melt butter and sauté apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until slightly softened. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine the ingredients: In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, and cream. Add chopped cinnamon rolls, apple mixture, and pecans.
